ArmStarted was started in 2023 by Arhant Das. Arhant is a high school senior at Redmond High School, starting catcher for Merchants Baseball 18U Elite team and member of the Redmond High School varsity baseball team. Arhant has been playing baseball since he was 10 years old, was a Redmond West All Star and part of Merchants Baseball teams since 2019. Arhant is aspiring to pursue a career in the medical field.

Watching many of his team mates sidelined by throwing injuries, Arhant was inspired to learn about body anatomy, understand injury mechanisms and create tailored prevention program for youths playing baseball. The result of that effort was ArmSmart, a medium to reach to these youth athletes and couches, and provide them the necessary information to avoid throwing injuries.
